Lol i have done this trick countless times i think i'd know when there are and aren't double lifts. There are 3 cards and he takes one and puts it in his other hand leaving 2 cards in his hand which you can see at 0.55. Tell me how that's a double lift??

No. At? that point, he shows that This is on bottom. Then, after flipping the deck back face down, he slides off the top card (still face down) and shows This again (which is in his left hand with another card), then slides the top card on the left hand into his right hand and shows This in his left hand again. Technically, it's not a double lift. There's no lifting involved, just sliding cards off and doing things quickly enough to make it look impressive.

Not at 0:55 he doesn't. He does do a few double lifts, yes, but not there. The effect is him putting one card from his right hand (left on? the screen) into his left (right on the screen). So there would be two in that hand regardless. Also, the right hand isn't lifting any cards at all, so there can't be a double left in any form. Again, I know how to do the trick, I know what he did.

After he puts the 8 of diamonds in the deck, he puts the blue card on top. 3.When he shows the supposed 8 of diamonds as the blue card, he switches over two cards, not one. This way he can show you the 8 of diamons, which he earlier placed under the blue card. 4. To get you to chose the 5 of spades is pretty simple. Just watch the 2nd shuffle.

If they do...instead of collecting the stacks first...take the stack their card was? in, split it in half, and put the bottom half on top, it's called "cutting"....that way their card will be under the original bottom card. Does that help?

guys its really simple. the way you separate their 3 cards is still so there is 10, 15, 15 between them each, then you move the 4 to the bottom so that the cards are in the right spots so that when you flip? through them they will never show up until the end. its all about their placement. and there arent any magical cards needed for this trick. any deck of cards will work.

I know how it works. Remember the selected card is the 44th (9th from bottom) card in the pile. Now, if no card matches the number u say, u will end up with 4 piles, 11 cards each (10+1 upside down card). so? the last card is your selected card. Now, every time a card matches the number you say, u withheld that many more cards from forming the pile. So, if u say 8 and get 8, you stop there, which means you stop adding eight more cards to the pile. so at the end, u just add the numbers and viola!
