I wonder why other cars don't implement that sound dampening tech? One of the things that I don't like is when a car is overly load and you could hear every pebble or rock you pass. If wanted to hear something I'd open the windows, at least on the inside provide some sense of quietness. No matter the brand, if it has loud cabin.. i'll? pass.

As much as I am attracted to the Buick Verano. I want the whole package, that includes customer service as pretty as the vehicle. So even though this new Buick is as lovely as any foreign import, is the? beauty just skin deep.. Emme's OnStar call was a good sign.

Most important? Personally, I don't like Camry's. They're? basic and boring family transportation made to get you from A to B safely. It's not meant for sport or speed which doesn't really appeal to me. Honda's Accord is a much better alternative since it's more powerful and sporty while still getting more gas mileage.

Add in the cost of fuel and the stress of a commute, and most drivers, very rationally, choose economical cars with quiet interiors. "Appliances," if you want to be dismissively elitist about it. I am driving one of the 4 cylinder base models overseas and it's a nice car. Not exciting but nice, very good on gas too. I also drive this car over 100 mph hour on my daily commute and? it's quieter then a Mazda 6, I like it. I would probably really enjoy a 6 cylinder with leather and may get one when I am back in America. Or not since it looks so plain. Probably get a Honda or Kia or Hyundai instead.

So are you drooling over the 2013 Acura ILX, 2013 RDX, 2013 Accord Coupe and Sedan and the new Acura NSX and their flag ship model, the Acura RLX? yet? (I know the release dates are far? off from now) When will you guys get the reviews? How does he like the Idea of Honda going to Direct Injection and possible CVT? I Dislike CVT so much but Hopefully I can count on Honda to option a 6 speed Manual or atleast a basic 5-6 speed Auto. At the least, make the 5 speed Auto CVT assisted.

I drove a loaner of one of these with 3 miles on the clock. I own an 07 TL Type? S (check my vids on my page) and was waiting for my gf's Type S to be ready. Ross, I agree with some points of the review but here are some facts you cannot overlook: The new exterior design is a hit or miss with alot of? consumers. The majority still feel the new design is not clean and sharp despite its efforts trying to be. Audi and Infiniti's exterior design are very clean. Acura should have taken a different route regarding exterior design.

... if you don´t like the Biturbo, don´t drive it, don´t buy it, just do nothing with it - it´s an amazing piece in the history of high-technology... Just take a look at the slim 3 valve SOHC-Heads, the wedge-shaped combustion chambers, usually demanding ridicoulus small valves - not here. Everything just PERFECTLY fits together in this engine. biturbos are iconic cars much like an old BMW M3, Porsche 944t? or a Mercedes 190 2.3 16v but much better looking and less "gipsy".If you get a 2.24 or 222 4v 89-90 they are actually running very well and most of the time troble free as/or more then a BMW M3 or Porsche 944t as well.Personal experience!

Older Ferraris like the 250 GTO you mentioned ain't exactly cheap to run and maintain. Spare parts are expensive and they can be difficult to service in that the whole engine has to be removed in order to service the transmission for example. Things like that.. I'm not saying the Biturbo is perfect, but in the hands of a dedicated enthusiast who replaces the prone-to-cause-trouble-parts, the car can be a joy. I've driven his Biturbo on a few? occasions and it's a joy. It's a car with character.

I am capable of keeping a car running...but i´m a different kind of enthusiast; the money the you would use restoring an old Maserati, i would use it on kits for new cars (you know, for like BMWS or AMGS). For me to do what your brother did it would have to be a very iconic car; ´Cobra 427, ´67 GT500,? 250 GTO, etc. And you should of course expect that a restored car is good and fun after you inverted some money. I´d rather do that with better reputated new cars.

Any old car can be problematic. A true car enthusiast doesn't worry about such trivial issues, especially if they're financially capable and willing to put money into restoring or keeping an older car running. The only costs my brother runs up with his Biturbo are fuel, oil and the? occasional service costs. It's now quite reliable and a joy to drive. I myself want to own a Citroen SM sometime in the future. If people have no passion for cars then they should buy an appliance: a Toytota Corolla.

What you just said is the reason why many people do not keep old cars? or cars wich have earned a bad reputation for problems; The Biturbo, for example. Of course you can have a car handle like a dream if you put some money into it; it´s cool, yeah. But, hey, it´s expensive! Many older cars were problematic because of the materials used. The Citroen SM and Maserati Biturbo for instance needed timing belts replaced at 50,000 km because the belt tended to wear and tear at this mileage. Failure? to do so would result in irreversible engine damage. These days running a Citroen SM or Maserati Biturbo, with modern components, is "easy". Like I said, my brother has replaced several components in his Biturbo with modern replacements. Car is solid and fun to drive.

The Biturbo really was a lousy car...Yeah, i might of been a Maserati and all, but that doesn´t mean the car is good at all. Clarkson does these kind of thing cause you? know, he´s heavy footed and his humor is kinfd of rough, etc. That´s why he has destryed a number os "good" cars. Going back to the Biturbo it´s not just Jeremy who hates it! Many Car TV shows all agree that Maserati was not worth it.

I can hardly get through one review of a Kia product without the journalist mentioning how, for example, the Forte bear looks like a Honda Civic, nevermind that the Forte was designed ahead of the last gen Civic. Or in a Kia Optima review, another? journalist will say "It is clear that Kia took some pages from Honda's playbook in styling".

I think because in real world driving situations the smaller cars will get better FE. So far the owners on fueleconomy.gov are averaging 33.5mpg with? a range of 24-42 for the Accent and 29.2 mpg with a range of 20-38 for the Elantra. Not purely scientific, but it may show something. Plus a lot of the compacts don't come in hatchback form.

Thanks. I actually am liking the Accent more and more with every drive. I also am getting used to its looks. I'm thinking it's not so bad after all. In fact, from a certain angle, it almost looks like the best-looking car ever, my 2002 Rio Cinco. The car is HUGE inside. And even in ECO mode, it has heaps of power,? again, comparing it to my favorite-car-ever. I'm over 39MPG on the computer with my first tank of petrol. That's at a usual 45MPH with stoplights I saw the instant drop to 38 at 65MPH.

I was suspicious of a 6 speed automatic, figuring it would probably be hunting for the right gear all the time. Was I ever wrong! The engine-A/T in this car is what the kids call "sweet". So much power that I've even turned on the ECO mode for around town. It's smooth, quiet, powerful, and still uuuulgy. I've? opened the garage door so I can keep looking at the car sitting there to try and get used to the look. Help, my car is melting!

i test drove this car, and i have to say i wasn't impressed. the power was good, but the clutch, i thought, was really annoying and took some getting used to. not only was it really short, it was kinda weird the way it engaged. the? volkswagen gti drove much better than this, to me.

I have a 2010? Speed 3 and it's a killer car. The only thing I disagree with during this review s the statement about the aftermarket community being small. Corksport alone makes a shitload of parts for this car, performance parts.

I'm aware that Clarkson's review is tongue in cheek, but most of the criticisms he makes of the X6 can be leveled at most crossovers and indeed most BMW's; ride, efficiency and? poor snow peformance (on road tyres) are issues that potential buyers of the car are unlikely to care about-sure the Range Rover is better off road, and it would be my personal choice, but it starts at at least £15k more than the BMW
