The problem with metalcore though, is all bands get their inspiration from other bands in the genre, there was Attack Attack, than Asking Alexandria and BMTH,? than other bands liked it so they ripped off it and made music that sounded alot like it using all the same concepts and ideas. Its not that all metalcore sounds the same its that they all reuse the exact same ideas and can't write something that is heavy so they just breakdown every 8-16 measures. Its become washed out and simply generic.
