I do? not agree with these peoples actions. I may be bias since I am a property owner and now just getting my feet wet in foreclosure investment property. The banks are not always at fault for these foreclosures. And if these people really needed a place to stay, there are plenty legal homes out there for them. They just need to learn how to pay rent or relocate their family if they can't afford to live in their current city.

Well,? it's as you said before, no matter how well they performed no one showed up at the games. They failed to win any championships here yes, but they have won before and it didn't help very much. I think they did more wrong here than simply lose (more then I can say in 500 characters). I was skeptical at first too, but everyone he has claimed to be working with have confirmed he was telling the truth and that he it very serious about this and that they're working daily on making it happen.

Well, simply put the Nets clearly did something wrong. The Devils have had a very good following here, a far stronger one than the Nets had. Other than in Vancouver and Toronto, the concept of an NHL team having a stronger following than? it's NBA counterpart is beyond unheard of. Adam Silver said that he had faith that that NJ with it's sexy new arena would be a great home for an NBA team on Monday. Just to say, the one spearheading this operation is Shaq, the politicians are just backing him.

good luck with that. seriously, i'd love to see another team end up in my home state, but jersey fans never supported the nets, so why would the league believe a new team would do any better? most of NNJ residents are knicks fans, with a smattering of nets fans. people would still rather stay home than go to a game. like i said, i hope it happens, but talk is cheap, especially directly after the nets moved. give it a few months and the politicians won't have? it on their radar anymore.

Yes, and you're of the rare bunch that it doesn't matter too or affect in anyway that they moved. Indeed, looking at the Knicks as rivals for my life as an NBA fan is one of the few reasons that I MIGHT not defect to another franchise until the powers that be get us? that shiny new team. south jersey is a philly sports area. i actually moved to brooklyn in 2000 came back to jersey city in 2003 and then moved to north carolina in 2005. i'll always follow the nets, no matter where they play. it's just how i follow my teams. as much as i'm a fan of them, i almost hate the knicks more, so it's fun to see them set up? shop in NYC and take them on straight up.

well, i went to the 'cuse with DC and have been a nets fan for 30 years. sorry that the knicks blow as hard as they do. don't worry, one day they'll win a playoff game. that is, once they get out of amar'e's terrible contract in four years. i'm glad the nets came to BK. i've lived on both sides of the river(s), so i've no problem? with the move. the video could've been much worse. and the team colors could've looked like the thunder. they're off on the right foot.

Knicks fan. Brooklyn resident. I'll be checking the Nets out. Rooting for them now they are the right side of the river but I hated them in the Coleman era. This slow push for them is lame. The above video is a classic ad agency emotion piece and it stinks. When the Nets come to brooklyn no one will care about their past (which is one of eternal sucking). Its Brooklyn's team? now. Well yes, but I was saying that people from south Jersey and even central Jersey would have difficulty accessing the place. There's more to NJ that just the North. Also, the Giants and Jets have NY fans too (also football is a more popular sport), which I doubt the Nets had most of the time. Newark was more geographically convenient, and? while they couldn't have played there for 35 years, they could have for 5. I'm sure they could had decent attendance for the first 3 before they said they out.

i grew up in montclair, lived all around NE NJ, as well as brooklyn. as a single guy, going to games wasn't an issue, whether i traveled down 46 to 3 or hiked through the holland and up 1/9. northern nj has a huge population... people don't seem to have a problem making? football games. the problem is that north jersey basketball fans are mostly knicks fans or front runners. while it would've been great for the team to have been in newark for 35 years, newark was a war zone 35 years ago.

But you can't blame NJ fans too much, when you build a stadium on a highway with no transit access of any kind way up in north Jersey you kinda doom yourself (I say this as a resident? of Lodi, New Jersey literally 5 minutes from said stadium; even I think that was dumb). I think moving to Newark sooner would have helped them a lot. They also tried to hard to market themselves to NY fans, from what I saw anyway, I only started following them when they got Kidd (I'm only 19y/o).
