Video duration: 273 seconds Global video hits: 693 So many Americans seem so curious about the whole British "tea" thing... Well as an Englishman, I'm here to show you how we make tea on average. No doilies, no teapots, no butlers, no sugar lumps, no ceremony... Sorry if it's a bit disappointingly normal ;) Related: tea, milk, sugar, england, britain, english, british, coffee, teapot, crumpets, uk, europe, tradition Display Video Comments | Hide Video Comments | Add Comment |

Wales is very beautiful! I've spent a few anniversaries there (in particular, in Llandudno). it's very countrysid-ish and green. If the UK was a fantasy setting, Wales would be where the Elves and Dwarves live.? Yup.
By: MisterCrolla. on 16 Apr 12, 21:54:15
What about? Wales? :P
By: MisterCrolla. on 16 Apr 12, 21:50:22
I've not seen them commonly, I must admit! If you were in the UK, I'd tell you where you? can get one! :P
By: MastaKadaj. on 16 Apr 12, 20:47:03
Haha, I'd be considered odd over there, then. xD?
By: MisterCrolla. on 16 Apr 12, 06:16:10
Extremely so. Most people would find it odd to? NOT put milk in tea.
By: MastaKadaj. on 16 Apr 12, 00:51:37
I have never once thought of putting milk in tea. (I'm American) Is it common over? there?
By: MisterCrolla. on 15 Apr 12, 10:02:42
Many people? would just use a spoon rather than a press, and the teabag pot thing is uncommon really, I just thought it was great! Most people would just throw the teabag straight into the bin.
By: MisterCrolla. on 26 Mar 12, 11:05:49
No, most of us use tea bags, it's just practical! Loose leaf tea is used here but nowhere? near as commonly as teabags.
By: LVOWL. on 25 Mar 12, 23:10:58
I was under the impression that people from the UK scoffed at tea bags, preferring? to use tea leaves. Not the case?
By: naseerahvj. on 03 Mar 12, 18:07:50
As an Anglo American I educate a lot of my friends on? How to do up a real tea. We also have to make our cozies over here as their impossible to buy.
By: MisterCrolla. on 14 Feb 12, 07:02:59
Bravo! Odd reversal in tastes with your parents though!?
By: KaitKatt. on 13 Feb 12, 06:16:57
I live in America and I drink my tea exactly like that, I even have an electric? kettle. I drink my tea like my mom who's American, my dad hates it that way and he's English xP

By: ThePouitree. on 11 Jan 12, 18:27:18
yes it does get a bit strong. But i'm West Indian and we use brown sugar, which? gives it a different taste. I usually use Yorkshire Gold. . . (i'm having a discussion about tea. what has happened to my life XD )
By: MisterCrolla. on 10 Jan 12, 17:20:57
Naww, gets too strong? and quite bitter!
