@joeyallen08 and I was also told at same dealership that the trannies are 18k USD to replace which is outrageous you could put a tranny in 15 vehicles for that lol. Don't know if it's worth it. When I test drove it they wouldn't allow launch control so I don't know that? much from exp. but it was quick without it. Just think you will use one to try yourself the next to show a friend and one to show off. Then it's no longer a sub 3 sec car it's normal acc from there on that still sucks

@joeyallen08. Yea I still think its under engineered for the price. The tranny doesnt hold up and they still restrict the launch control on a car you pay that much for. Every car it competes with that has launch control can be used at owners discretion. I just think they should of by now solved that issue. So either they need more time or? they over did themselves and still looking for solution don't know. Even three tunes ain't enough in a car you own.

Using launch control in the Nissan GTR 2012 model no longer voids the warranty, you can use the launch control successfully 3 times until it locks you out of the system, it has to be driven for a? few miles before you can use launch control again.

if I had the money I would go for a Jaguar XF R. less than half a? second slower than a m5 on a quarter mile, on the top gear track half a second slower on the track. It is at least $20 000 cheaper than the M5, and I love Jaguars. The GTR is for japanese teenagers who like fast and furious.

The BMW is not really a twin turbo. There's a scroll in the intake with two small? turbine fans that rely more on intake pressure than exhaust. So when the mods come out and it actually gets a turbo iir will beat most that it don't now. Why BMW didn't use real turbos like every other mfr. that's what BMW does they reinvent the wheel. Great car the Nissan though. Just cheap and you void warranty for using launch control which is cheesy.

When was that? I bet it was without the launch control. Most of you dont know that. The M5 beats always the e 63 amg with PP. Look at the background pic on my channel. Or look at the m5 forum. That what you saw is the time without? launch control. Did you ever heard about the launch control? At the BMW site you'll see that the bmw does it in 4,3s from 0-100 but if you use the launch control you'll do it in 3,9s. So that means it is much faster from 0-200 with launch control. Don't talk about 13s.

The GT-R has a 3.8L V6, not a V8. The GT-R IS a different type of car. If the? GT-R was a similar car it would be marketed to the same people the M5 is marketed to. Just because they create almost the same bhp doesn't mean they are similar cars. Last time I checked the M5 was a saloon, and the GT-R was a two door sports car. Try to talk about practicality and comfort. I would rather travel to work and across the country in an M5, not a GT-R.

I recently drove my friends 06 GTO on the way home from the shop where his 4runner was being? fixed. On the highway a group of guys passed me in a modified WRX. They looked at the car for a good while, clearly interested. I selected 3rd, and got on it accelerating about 15mph. I then resumed cruising in the right lane. As the subaru calmly passed, i looked over. All five guys in the car had their thumbs up out the window. It was a wonderful moment. I love my car, but that doesn't happen in a350Z.

haha...BMW can't break the laws of physics. RWD in the snow, wet roads, etc., can't compete with AWD in a straight line and on a track. It's everything about grip, and if you have 500+ hp it's even more about grip. AWD is much safer in real world with snow/rain/etc. Let's wait for RS6 C7 with audi's brand new 4.0T V8, it should be revealed this summer. It'll be the? proper rival fot M5 F10.

That's incorrect. M5 have a 7-speed dual clutch.? 3/5 series do have the 8 speed automatic, but not for the M5. But yes, DCT does give and edge over automatic / manual boxes. More power hit the wheel + (perhaps) M5 still weigh a (bit) less than the RS6.

Wrong yet again. You need? to visit some drag strips more often and stop youtube racing. A F10 is not as fast as a stock Z06 LOL. The Z06 driver in that video couldn't drive for shit and shifted like a grandma a well driven C6z will outrun a F10 almost every time. My friend just got an F10 M5 that he sold his C6z for and he even admitted that.

Yeah, no once again. Auto Car and Car and Driver both clocked a 3.7 and a 3.8 0-60 time for the F10. With Car and Driver getting the M5? to breaking 12 and having a 122mph trap in the quarter. I dont think you've noticed, but BMW is one of the most if not THE most conservative automaker when it comes to performance figures. BMW got the E60 M5 at 4.8 to 60. Auto Car, Motortrend, and Car and Driver all got 4.2 And frankly, 0-60 times dont mean shit to these cars. Its highway passes and 1/4 times

I would hope so...considering the Mustang is over 600lbs lighter than the M5 and literally has over 100 hp and tq more. In reality, thats not that impressive. What IS impressive is how BMW got? a 4400lbs 5 seater to break 12 seconds in the quarter at a 122 MPH trap. Dont get me wrong, I like Fords attempt to make a Corvette contender, but with all those numbers, it isnt going to make me buy it over a ZO6. And if a GT500 ever races an M5, it'll be close. It'll win, but it wont be a breeze.

Wow. It's unbelievable how? cars have changed. I mean that there were times when You were struggling with even a stock car which had let's say a lil less power than that new M5, but u had to have some skills to hold it on straight. Now You just sit and pull the paddle shifters, possibly stability systems will hold you. They are ON most of the time.
