Good for you! I've been Vegan for just over 1 year now, and it was the absolute best decision I ever made for myself. It's hard without your families support, but when they see the changes in you, I bet you anything they will become jealous and convert. It's amazing to feel so light and not burdened down. I also didn't realize how congested I was all the time from dairy. My advice to you, if I? may offer it, is to be sure to not rely on soy. Try almond,rice and hemp milks too. Best of luck! :)

I hardly ever eat meat or drink milk as it is, so I told my mom and sister that I was thinking of going Vegan since I might be able to pull it off! Immediately, they judged my decision? and thought it was stupid. They told me "No, it's lack of nutrition and you need meat to eat right. You'll end up doing it wrong anyway." I told them that's just excuses people come up with without doing thorough research first. They still don't understand, but I'm just going to give it a shot anyway. (:

in? many cases, chickens will eat their own raw eggs. many farmers who do not use their chickens for profit (ACTUAL farmers) use this method. chickens produce eggs almost every day, so they are losing a lot of calcium and feeding them whole, hard-boiled, finely mashed up eggs, is a good way to replenish that. i personally am going to do this. if you have chickens and you eat their eggs, cool, don't overwork them. but me? no. i won't.

I think we pretty much have to keep chickens as pets because we've bread them to be pretty useless in nature - on my island chickens escaped captivity a few hundred years ago and we used to have wild dogs and pigs so the "feral" chickens you see don't look like stereotypical chickens - they're? really lean and have long legs and run super fast (i remember when i was a kid after i saw jurassic park thinking how much they really did look like raptors)

I know chickens are omnivores but I just have a hard time believing that in nature a chicken would smash up it's own egg to eat it. My impression was that Hitchens was mildly critical of Clinton until he became involved in a scandal involving a certain young lady. He then wrote a Clinton-demolishing biography the purpose of which was, in his own words, "If it doesn't sound too pompous,? to save the honour of the Left." Actually, it was a little pompous, especially coming from someone who spent much of his own life womanising ( and manising). Hitchens spent his latter years believing he was part of some "officer class."

No, you're wrong. Clinton got lucky being president when he did. How could he not be called lucky given the boom that occurred during his? term as president? I suspect even George Bush Snr would have made hay (so to speak) in that economic climate. As for eloquent, let me just say that Clinton is not only a murderer but a coward. I said he had sound economic policy, but I also aknowledge his timing was lucky with the .com? boom. But when's the last time we've come close to passing a balanced budget? That was good policy.
