I made this mistake also. I was working out 5 nights a week 3 hours a day for over 2 years and got no where. Friends worked out less and were getting bigger. It wasn't till I learned I needed proper supplementation before during and after workout. When I found out that info I started working out doing Various (muscle Confusion) push ups, sit ups, Leg lifts, Bench dips and so forth with no real weights besides 5 gallon bucket of wheat for up? right rows. its not the supplement man. its definitely your workout. dont go over an hour and lift heavy. atleast? 8 reps. when i say atleast 8 reps, your failing already at around 8 and so on reps. strain your muscles. a good indication that you had a good workout is DOMS. look it up. you should study you nutrition too. its very important.

Theirs plenty of research that comes to the conclusion that post exercise in order to trigger anabolism you need a certain amount of carbs, and protein.? And better yet leucine. Thus if you took whatever you can eat from your garden in one serving and one of my protein shake and I drank it. Most likely you'd still be catabolic and I would be anabolic. you need protein post recovery, its any athlete knows this. I agree with you that "your garden" is really the best.

Where is it scientifically written or proven that you need 35 grams or any particular amount? That literature doesn't exist (except in marketing). All the things in my garden will provide me with every nutrient i will ever need for the rest of my healthy life. I don't need your form/type of antigens/antibodies (Immunoglobulins). I have not even had a cold since 1995 (true story). I don't get any illnesses - NONE. So you can keep spending money on fake stuff? all you like.

The best proteins, also known as the only proteins, are the ones that are never processed. That would a be salad comprised of spinach, tomatoes or anything from the? garden. You can add some sliced raw almonds for extra ummff. Anything processed like whey is, will always be of lesser nutrient value than the original source. It doesn't matter that it was only pasturized once. U didn't tell what temp it was heated to. or how long. Oxygen also damages proteins and the chemical bonds of aminos.

I'm a fan but you cannot say you discovered this. There are at least? rwo eu co's now making native whey. Your source with 'tal' in the name is one. They do three types all instant and even one isolate with reduced lactose. I've tried a few samples and I do agree it is better with a cleaner taste. Great product but as for disovery - a few multi-billion dairies may take issue with that! :-)

Maybe the labels should report how many grams of protein you can actually utilize instead of the actual grams. Protein is denatured the second it hits your stomach so who cares how many times its been denatured previously? Maybe, one less step for you stomach might actually be a good thing? Who knows? Yes of course it helps gain weight, but you must use this in conjunction with a good, high calorie diet. You can't just rely on protein to help you gain. My advice is to use natural food. Get into your training, find the training you enjoy the most (it doesn't have to be weights though I do enjoy that) & test different foods. I found after years and years of horrible flatulence (yes, farting...) that the cause was lactose. So I cut dairy. For me, life is better without dairy! Find what works for you. Food manufacturers will always point you towards their products. Check out CrossFit workouts and Tabata! Great that you're getting? into training!

a lot of proteins are different, just look at the back for serving size.? Some use two scoops, some one. I use one scoop of my protein which has around 26 grams of protein. You don't need any more than that as your body can't absorb that much protein and it gets flushed out.

I'm an endomorph and I also happen to suffer from gout, which limits the number of protein and complex carbs I can take in a day. For instance, red meats and shellfish are pretty much impossible for me. Any kinds of nuts and legumes like beans and lentils are bad as well. I can't even take wholegrain stuff like brown rice too much. I'm basically screwed. What would your advice be? for people like me who are trying to lose weight and gain muscle? whey isolate as i said has a BV of 108 and casein only 74 so the BCAA's and the nitrogen retention from casein is very low. and there is no advantage to digest protein? slow while you sleep, if you are digesting foods you are not? getting proper REM sleep, so eat casein in a food is fine but i wouldnt actually buy a protein with casein stick with whey isolate

As a Biochem major I agree with this guy. It's hard to beat Egg Albumin for protein quality. Biological Value is 100% and is what other proteins are compared to. The allergy component is real with all protein sources , but especially Soy and Dairy derived proteins. If you are getting gas from any protein source, stop? using it.

If a cow makes milk, that milk is specifically designed for one creature in mind, the baby calves. This dude actually makes? sense. Whey is the best for bodybuilding, but it's simply not healthy in general. Eggs and meat is the best cuz it's natural. Yes Whey is processed from eggs, meat, etc, but it's in powder form.... I take whey myself for bodybuilding, but other than that you are right about the healthy portion...Whey is meant for fast digestion after workout. I still take it, even with the health concerns.
