This movie captured really intense, magical moments between characters without stating the obvious and that's what I really like about it. I was so enthralled by the acting, music, and cinematography, that I didn't realize "Driver" didn't have a name until the second time I watched. The scenes between Ryan and Carey were so quiet, yet telling. One of? my favorite scenes is when "Driver" walks down the hallway in slow-mo carrying a sleeping "Benicio", after their evening of fun. Most important thing to remember is don't stress, just go somewhere quiet if someone can drive you it works nicer, and just try it out, you WILL stall the car but after a few hours/days you should be okay or? confident enough to drive in traffic / stop&start at lights, just don't OVERTHINK it, shifting is a natural feeling just learn how YOUR car responds to the clutch.

And don't say it's not possible... it IS... In order to tone down the clutch wear on the cars I drive, I put them in neutral when I'm braking and then engage the whatever gear I? feel appropriate as far as speed and engine rpm go. Also, I never wait at a traffic light or for pedestrians to cross the street in first gear with my foot on the clutch pedal. Always in neutral. That helps balancing out the wear that I do while short-shitfing :p .

I'm 17 from the UK, i love driving my manual car, my brother bought an Automatic with the trip tronic thing. He usually has Manuals but he really wanted the car so he bought? it anyway. It's still not as fun as a manual and he gets very bored of driving his car now. My dad usually has manuals too, but he bought a classic Jaguar recently, and the Auto model is better than the manual in this case, so he bought an auto, i don't mind driving that though, because it has a 4.0 engine lol.

I rented a manual car? when my automatic was at service, and I really got fed up with having to shift gears manually, I was happy to get my car back. In my case - once automatic, always automatic ;D Here in Sweden we drive mostly manuals too.. I guess that's the case in Europe over all.

I appreciate the new functions, but they made it look even more like a chick car. Also, on the newest generation the price of labor and parts is so? much higher. Not to mention older Miatas such as my 1990 have a more bullet proof engine and can really take a beating. And to top it all off, you just can't make the car completely custom inside and out as you can with the first and second generations.

The problem with the new Miata is it looks very modern! When first introduced, Miatas were a hit because it reminded people of the 1960 European roadsters. I think the new Miatas have loss that connection and distinctness! The winning formula is what Carrol Shelby did, take a small, lightweight roadster from the 1960s look and give it lots of power! The original Miata gave people that feeling. Today's Miata not so much, I prefer? my 1996 Miata to any of the new ones for this reason...

Go to a track day and see if you notice any hairdressers stepping out of Miatas. If you don't care about tracks then u don't need to be discussing sports cars. What you'll see though are hardcore auto enthusiasts in Miatas. Obviously there are better vehicles out there, but to discredit something based on social perception is a clear sign? of a pure lemming.

No offense fellas, but you've got a lot of work to do with these hosts. To sum up how I feel about this in one word - crap, to sum it up in two -? new hosts. FLD is(was?) the real deal, this is a half-assed attempt that fails miserably b/c of the hosting. You guys look unnatural and uncomfortable and you're not even trying to look at the camera. Maybe move your prompter, grow some personality, and quit with the queer, overly-animated hand gestures and it would be a decent show. Thanks.

the lfa should drive honda to push the HSV soon. the lfa is an awesome car but cant hold up to the performance standard that honda puts down. lfa didn't even do too well against the GT-R, and that car isn't any ware near $400 grand. the hsv is governed at 500 hp for its super gt class. but can do better.? because of the V-8 meeting the requirements for the 500 hp class honda set aside the V-10 they've been working on. but dont worry we might just see that high revving V-10 soon enough.
