Another problem that occurred was having all the Federal employees & others taking part in retirement programs, like the TSP, that made them delusional and indulged equity market abuses. Another reason for the unjust bail out syndrome? but also has created problems with government responsibility toward citizens. Just as bad is allowing state, county, & local government pension funds to participate in federal debt which has decimated civic services & diverted more funds toward those entities.

Not during the famine! Most Protestant arrived in the 16/1700's I believe in large numbers, it wasn't? until the 1800's that the famine took place and those arriving during the famine were mostly Catholics although probable around 15/20% may have still been Protestant.

No one knew back then that the sun wasn't moving but that the earth was rotating, but God even answered Joshua's prayer he prayed in? ignorance. That is encouraging to me because a lot of times I pray without fully understanding the whole picture. God knows our HEART, not necessarily that we fully understand the details of what we ask for. God created the sun and the earth, so He knew what Joshua meant. :)
