A lot of people are spekaing negatively about this girl. Saying she is fat, looks like a pornstar, and is fake. Whitney is beautiful, shapely, and has a good sense of the industry. I've heard and read comments of her on the internet, her blog, etc. And she can be very obnoxious at times, putting thin women down to make thicker women? feel better. I do agree that thicker women should have role models and should feel appreciated and all, BUT I do NOT think that diminishing skinny women is the solution. Seriously.

oh my god she is SO inspirational to me. i'm trying to make it as a model and i'm probably about her size. girls this size CAN be great models! high fashion as well. of course if a girl is naturally skinny that's one thing, people should accept that. but it's beyond not fair that so many women are turned down because they aren't skinny enough! when did that become a rule of? being a model!!!??? our world is so fucked.

I think it's great that the chose a plus-size model but as a naturally thin tall person I found it a bit offensive in her Seventeen Magazine interview when she referred to skinnier persons as "clothes-hangers". What happened to accepting all body? types? Putting down others is only a sign of insecurity.
