The Essence is beautiful. I? really do think they should build it, but forget about the GT-R. Put in the V8 from the M and tune it to maybe 500-550 horsepower AND torque (don't neglect the torque), make it REAR wheel drive, and keep the cost in the $60,000-$70,000 range. That is the kind of car I want, a beautiful GT car.

You have NO IDEA how beneficial it is for you to know what you want to? do with your life as early as high school. I did but didn't know how. That said, if you REALLY want to be a car designer you have two choices: Art Center in LA and CCS in Michigan. As long as you get yourself to one of these places and kick ARSE in your work there, car companies will fight over you! Every designer you have seen on the show has gone to one of these two places.

You have it spot on with the exception of the 'test driver' part. In a previous life, I was in the technology world.? That lead me to live in England. I told my mother I went over for a good job. The truth was that I moved over to by an Elise and go on the storied tracks of Europe. What you see in the opening of each show is a depiction of my club days at the Lotus Factory Track in Hethel!

My opinion may be biased as an Infiniti owner but Infiniti has diffently outdone Lexus in every segement except for the super sedans like the Lexus LS? and BMW 7 series. Bmw is good as well "but Infiniti is better at doing BMW than BMW is at doing BMW these days." Not to say they are the Best Manufacturer in the world but they are diffintely at the top of my last, 6 years ago if you would have asked me I would have siad BMW.

I was only planning on watching the first 20 Seconds but I ended up watching the entire episode,? It was very intersting. Infiniti has really stepped up their game, according to many..Lexus is the new Acura, they have fallen behind in designs despite still being a luxurious brand.

"I really love this show. Is this show avail on any cable channel? because the production value is great? I can't believe this show doesn't get views in the thousands but a stupid video like Fred gets millions. I am not a big fan of Japanese design. Can you think of any memorable Infiniti models from their past? NO. Have any Infiniti models come close to performance of a BMW or Mercedes Benz. I think all the Buick and Cadillac owners will end up in Infinti camp.

Hi saw your post, would you know how does Morgan make sure none of that wood under sheet metal ever gets wet and then rots? Lots of sealant? Sealant around screws? I restore wooden yachts, all handcrafted, all beautiful, but rain water, a hidden leak, always an invitation to wood rot. It's why people prefer tasteless fiberglass? boats out of molds.

They have a factory they are *very* proud of and happy to share it - in fact, you too can walk where I walked on the factory tours although I don't think they would hand over? the paint gun . . . :)

Remember what Charles said about Morgan being modest. Even before I stepped foot in the factory I knew they were doing things a? bit different than other small British manufacturers. That being the case, I have no doubt they will be around for a long time to come. Also remember Sochiro Honda's famous quote: "There will ultimately be 6 major companies" then he paused and said "and Morgan". When the show goes into syndication, I will head over again to build my own Aero V8 Manual . . . :)
