Great game, the combat is excellent, really surprised it never got a sequel. There's no doubt that it's a great game but it's also very frustrating and some things pissed me off such as losing health when you punch wooden? crates and if you accidentlly waste an item that you might need later in the level then you are screwed.

This game is toooooooo fucking hard, I never got past the third level in my life. I've beaten games like Ninja Gaiden but, fuck, this game just gets? to me.

I had a chance to play this on the Genesis at a friend's house and absolutely loved it. I thought it was? a difficult game but it was definitely no battle toads or demon souls. I liken it difficulty wise to the first 3 levels of Ninja Gaiden. Either way though, I loved this game and I'm happily surprised to see your review of it.

My friend showed me an easier way to beat that hanging boss on Level 2. If you roll under him and push the barrel of? fire under him it'll keep doing damage to him until he dies. No effort needed for him. I think Comix Zone is a game that has a deliberate way of playing through it and right choices you're suppose to make.
