I think what's great to take out of this is his attitude after such an atrocious hole. As a golfer myself, I understand how frustrating it is sometimes but you have to get it out of your mind, and try to dig yourself out one shot at a time. Don't try and make it all back on one hole. A similar thing? like this happened to me at my district golf tournament this year, where I hit into the woods and finished with a 12. I kept my cool, shot a 37 on the back to finish with an 83 to make it to State.

sigh. Keegan swings way harder and is probably stronger. Just becuase a player has his elbow folded doesn't make him hit the ball just as far as another player. Theres different componets to different golf swings that make certain players hit the ball farther then others. Elbow? position in this case is definetly not a reason as to why Hunter Mahan isnt able to hit the ball as far as Keegan.

I already ordered it but the staff? didn't custom made for me! They said this model is very hard to hit it solid and too hard for me to hit it. I know but i can work my ball and i can hit it solid but actually too much so it will launch too high and spin is too high so this driver is definitely for me according to selector guide. They suggest me to buy D2 model but that will makes no difference. I need D3 model and all they suggest is not let me to waste money?! Underestimated me!

I love? this driver, I tried the 909D2 9.5 stiff flex and did not hit 1 decent drive the whole round. I then tried the 909D2 10.5 regular flex and it was amazing. After 6 weeks I am so confident with this driver I feel I will hit a great shot every time. Try the various lofts and flexes and get one that works for you.

yeah pros compress the ball.. but do you have any idea how high woods hits it? he doesn't de loft that much.. he used to use a 6 degree loft driver and still hit it freakishly high.. if he delofted he would have hit it on the ground.. not to mention the fact that he switched to a graphite shaft.. a custom shaft that would be around $500 for the "average joe".. he works hard to keep the same club degree at impact.. when he doesn't he plays like shit and flies greens by 20-30 yards..?

Some r the exception when they r lashing at the ball. what about the rest??? Look at pro's impact compared to average joe's impact. well some players do play strong irons, but not that strong...thats roughly 8* strong. Which no one does. Tiger woods, in his prime, was easily able to hit? a 9 iron that far, he bombed the ball. Lots of tour players can do that today, bubba, dustin maybe, alvaro, thats one of the reasons that the pros are so damn good. Sorry pal, you are completely and utterly wrong on this one.

Lee, can you tell me what position the shaft of the iron should be at address? Should it be leaning backwards so the sole of the club is on the ground, or should the the shaft be pointing towards the target, thus having the leading edge of the iron on the? ground and the sole slightly uplifted from the ground? I would appreciate an answer to this as my iron play is shocking and I tend to try different set ups to compensate for this.

Its a good question,? but to impact the ball correctly with compression then the club head will still be decending onto the ball and the sole of the clubhead won't reach flat or parallel with the ground until a point after impact. This is why a divot starts after the ball when the bottom of the swing arc shallows out.

You helped visualize the details of impact, compression and flight. Now with repetition in practice and visualization I will compose together my swing with this lesson. It should help my? game as often don't visualize why my divvit moves back and forth and it's depth. Sometimes i focus on center or forward of the ball for striking.
