US Gold's Strider Returns doesn't count. The real sequel is Capcom's own Strider 2 for? arcade and PSX, and it's a pretty damn nice game, although not as great as the original.

Strider 2 on the Megadrive was made by (I think) US Gold. It was a pile of crap. Capcom disowned it? and did a real sequel on the PS1 that was awesome, check it out.
