I doubt anyone thinks this nadine girl went and supported and bad place on purpose. The point is that like most white toursist that go to thailand, she just went and did something without researching, and once there...didn't really use common sense to evaluate the situation and think "what is my money supporting" of course she didn't know...but she sould have researched. I'm not saying shes a bad? person or anything. most ppl arent...they just would rather not kill their fun time squeaking and

i totally agree, ppl go gaga over the cute cuddely wuddely babies (as you can hear these girls squeaking and squawking)? but dont actually gain any info about where the tigers came from, how the facility helps conservation, & how "train" them. usually they r sedated & trained with a very heavy hand to keep them this docile around loud obnoxious tourists. If u think baby tigers are cute, save them by donating to orgs that conserve in wild, rather then captive for tourists to take pictures with.

just because you visited three times, and didn't "see them abusing" tigers, doesnt? mean they dont drug them. I work with wild animals, and I agree...i think these animals are likely given sedatives. and likely when you are NOT visiting, they have to use a heavy hand to teach them that any aggression will get them in trouble.There was a similar place called "Tiger Temple" & ppl said "no its not possible they are treated well" they were recently closed down for abuse and drugging. do research!

What ever the paying public contribute, goes back on the Tigers. I am by no means an expert but I would think that any animal laying out in 40' temperature isnt going to be the liveliest. Would i? go in a cage with one at night? absolutely not.

Not to be a party pooper, but places like these that allow chances to go in with adult tigers and pet the cubs are actually very bad for tiger welfare/conservation (why you don't see WWF, NWF,ALTA, etc..other animal groups supporting them) They over breed and some are under a close eye as to make sure they are not supplying the? illegal trade in tiger parts.

- completly illegal in the U.S. unless you have a permit, I love them and do want to own one and they look cuddly? and harmless in all reality, their not house cats, They are killers or can be. These tigers must have been hand raised. They cost thousands of dollars and could end upwards of a couple hundred thousand dollars for food, there's food, vet bills, housing,enrichment ect. you have to make sure you can care for it, trust me i want a snow leopard but i cant afford it.

I have a Street Triple R 2010. Ridden, Speed Triple, Speed Triple R, Tiger 800 Road + XC, Boneville and Explorer. I like both, Explorer and Tiger. I didn't? enjoy the wind buffeting on the Tiger, not pleasant but maybe a new screen would help. Power was nice and smooth on Tiger, light and nimble, felt like a Street Triple with fairing. The Explorer had way more grunt and toys maybe for bigger person? Still excellent bike though quick and easy to turn in. Great Authority on the road.
