Video duration: 245 seconds One of the first songs I wrote, 'Severed'. It was inspired by a scene in the episode called 'Bastogne' of the HBO TV series 'Band of Brothers'. I'm not sure why I was thinking of it at the time, but there we go. It's basically about a soldier that's been shot - the song is from the point of view of the taunting sniper that shot him.
