@marcphilos...what city? is that?
By: marcphilos. on 14 Nov 10, 04:38:09
Yeah there has been a pretty sizeable Nigerian population in my city for the past 30 years, so this song became a major club hit in my area, especially at the? Reggae clubs. Unfortunately, even though this version was produced by the renown James Mtume, it only peaked at 73 on the R&B charts in late 1984. I guess that sort of adds to its appeal as a rare gem. Happy listening!

@marcphilos...Bless you!!!..You have good taste in music! You? definitely got SOUL. This was the jam back in da days. What!!! This song right here steamed up the dance floors. It brought a boy and girl together real quick. It had more international? airplay and appeal than it did in the United States though. I realized fans in countries in the Carribean, Africa and Europe remember this song more than people in the United States. Native was a Jamaican group. This song was a big hit in Nigeria!
