I don't use Skype. This is one of the rare times I actually spend time in internet. I usually listen to music and play guitar on my free time, but I really can't now because it's 4am,? so the only way I can pass time is this. But I didn't form it for myself. I don't know if you understand this but? I just said I formed an general opinion opinion, but it still might not be my own opinion. These kinds of things are hard to explain. And yes, he does improvise a bit. If he would try to play note to note he would make mistakes. Now he just plays some parts bit differently, he doesn't actually make any mistakes, which means that he improvs.

Actually it's not my opinion, it's an opinion formed by me from the techings of other musicians. And he quite clearly has far enough talent to play it perfectly. And you seriously mean that you think that guitarist is only good if he plays? everything perfectly? The best guitar solos are melodic guitar solos that actually sound like something, and guitar solos like that are often improvised. And this is not my opinion, it's a fact. Even if he doesn't play it perfectly i doesn't mean he failed.

Literally cover means to play a song written by someone else in your own style, which means that he can play whatever in the world he wants if it sounds even a bit like the original.
