I've known tons of Mormons in my time, and they do contradict their philosophical positions frequently. They love government JOBS, for the work is light, and the pay is substantial. They don't want the Feds interfering into their local governments, but seek federal assistance, as you stated. They're also extremely clannish.? If you're not a Mormon, then they want no part of you. Their dream is a Mormon president, majority Congress, and all of the MONEY. For they love money!

Well, you know; they don't exactly have JOBS they need to go to. All of those kids and they SAY? they don't want the intervention of the state or Feds-- but where does their food even come from? FOOD STAMPS, USDA FOOD STAMPS.. These people crack me up. They want to have the USA NOT involved, but they lean on the USA for their very subsistance. All of these huge families, as this is what their church requires, and they HAVE government help all the way! Kooky??

Well, I did just walk up to some random stranger and? ask if I could lean my arm on his shoulder.. and he allowed it! That's Austin.. and that's Ron Paul crowds- very accommodating! I liked the sound, most; captured most of what I wanted from Dr Paul.

Actually, if we were spending less on these wars and overseas bases, as well as international welfare, he says that ensuring money is there (from the current coffers) to handle medicare and medicaid and social-security is something he'd continue-- But, we really need to cut MILITARISM, while? bumping-up defense, by bringing our people HOME.

Temps? Oh, hot as Hades! Remember, I rode my scooter down there, too-- so REALLY hot (about 20 miles, each way, and I was blistered). I am still pretty burned.. but? I stood up for as long as I could, trying to get video while keeping my arm on some guy's shoulder (ha), as he clapped for Paul. Oh well.. It was probably close to 100, considering we were standing on concrete., in the SUN. No shade for Dr Paul, either, and the only people sitting were tea-party, with umbrellas..

Tell you what-- it DID give me a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to tea-party. Then again, they are the same people who said they were voting for Santorum (yes, after Satan was out), but I was able to convince? them to go with Paul. I am sure Paul's speech had a LOT to do with that, too.. and that HE supports their local candidate, Ted Cruz (and visca-versa)/

Next time, you guys-- I use Ari's camera and his press-pass, so? I can get in front of him, rather than to the side or behind. It's okay, though; I really wanted to show the crowd(s). I did have someone else holding the camera for a few minutes, because I could not get around the Ted Cruz umbrellas! *tea-party folk, not thinking about those behind them..
