Go ahead and try resetting the device. Sometimes it's? a software issue. If that doesn't work, I'd call Acer up and try to find out what's going on!

The box was already checked..? and I have frequently been checking for the ICS update. At first it simply said that my device is up to date. Now it's saying that I have a weak network connection, even though the wifi bars are full. Maybe I have a defective device and didn't realize it.

Yes, indeed I have gotten previous updates. I think I know what your problem is though. If you go into settings, then scroll to the bottom where it says "About Tablet", there is an option at the top that says "Software Update". Tap that, and make sure the box labeled "Check automatically" is checked. If it isn't, then that explains your problem. I have gotten a few updates on my device before ICS 4.0.3. These? include Android 3.1, 3.2, and a couple bug fixes.

I have a question. I have never gotten any updates? on my a100. Have you gotten updates before ICS? I'm in Virginia and haven't gotten a notice to update yet.

@ldoro3 it is really cool. If you can get past the lag then go? for it! And like I said, the laggy movement is only in the scrolling. Everything else works fine!

You won't be disappointed! The update works very well, and in some cases faster than 3.0 Honeycomb. I have to say, though, there is a bit of lag when scrolling through the home page and so? on.
