It's a traditional song from the Shilluk tribe of? South Sudan. I made it for my friend who's a Shilluk... I pray for them too.

The Shilluk are a part of the Luo nation. Tradition has it that sometime in the 15th century, Nyikango, the founder of the Chollo nation, quarrelled with and separated from Dimo and the other Luo groups in wic pac, somewhere?? in Bahr el Ghazal. The Shilluk language is spoken throughout the kingdom. It is close and related to other Luo languages of Anyuak, Jo-Luo, Pari, Shatt and Belanda? Buor. It is also related to Nuer and Dinka languages.

For a phenotypically homongenous populations such as the ones inhabiting south sudan, mere artificial groupings should not be allowed to divide us. We should take home and replicate that? sense of togetherness that's found all across our communities abroad. We're a great people and as long as we stick together and get rid of these artificial nonsense of tribe, we can build the greatest country in that part of the world in a matter of decades.
