Pau however was more consistent, he is a lot more efficient than Bryant (Partly due to his size and position and partly due to his mentality to spread the? ball instead of forcing it. Something which Kobe still does not exactly have.)

My bad, you are correct 2000? Bryant did play well, he was still the second dog to O'Neal but kudos to him. In 2010 and 2009 Pau Gasol out played him in the finals if memory serves me correct.

Plus, Kobe Bryant is not a top 5 clutch player of all time... This is no knock on Kobe as there has been thousands of player previous to him. Bryant shoots 33% in the final 24 to win a game? this has been shown by statistics. Bryant also often as the mentality he HAS to score, Jordan, Bird and Worthy didn't have this, they were willing to pass if it meant a easier shot. My clutch list is... The players of the 50's and 60's were less athletic but they would still perform to a high level. If you brought Jerry West from his era to today's era then he would be even better with the new condition? and sport science advancements. Thus if you brought Bryant back to the 50's he would not be as good....A true measure of a player is how much he dominated in his era, how much he was able to step above the competition, or how he was able to influence and shape the generation after him.

@NBALIVEMATCHES 2000 finals Game 4 shaq fouled out kobe took over.And he averged like 25 5 5 in all those playoffs series and He averged 32 points and 7 assists in the finals in 09 he was? the only person to do that jerry west,but he struggled in game 7 in 2010 but he hit some clutch shots and grabed 16 rebounds

Skip never said Derrick Rose is more dominant than Magic Johnson. He was agreeing with what NBA analyst Tim Legler said in that Derrick Rose during his MVP season that? he out played all the other point guards in the league (like Magic did) and that he's both the ball handler? AND primary scorer for his team (which Magic wasn't) thus making him dominant.

Kobe is not top 5. He is too inconsistent and is unwilling to trust his teammates, funnily enough Jordan was exactly like this especially in his third season where he averaged 38. Kobe shoots around 45% through out his whole career... This is horrible when contrasted against Kareem Adbul Jabber's 56%, Jordan 49% or Chamberlain's 54%. Also Kobe is? not as clutch as you think he is, shooting 30% from the field in the last 24 seasons playing horrible the 2000,2001 and 2009 finals. Part 3 later.

Wrong. I am not trying to offend you but please hear me out. The game has changed but that doesn't mean it has improved, 90's basketball was more physical and rougher, hand checking, trash talk, more contact allowed and no defensive three seconds. Derrick Rose (My favourite player currently) wouldn't be able to drive in like he does. He would be destroyed by Ewing, Mourning, O'Neal? or Olujawon. I explain why Kobe isn't the second greatest of all time in my next response.

kobe is the second most clutch player of all time behind Jordan. you keep talking about older players, the game has evolved so beyond what it was! players now a days are on a whole other? level! i hate the lakers, durant and westbrook are my favorite players, but kobe is better then lebron and the rest of your list.

skip is an idiot and drives me nuts with his westbrook bashing. i definitely disagree with you and skip about your kobe ranking though. Kobe is definitely in the top 5 off all time! I believe he is the second best EVER by jordan. i heard you rattle off pippen's rings, all-star appearances, and stats and said he's in the top 50, well then kobe's resume speaks for it's self and i hate? the lakers. Wilt was amazing, but that was in a completely different area, but he's in the top 3 of all time!
