Around 34 frames for most of the time. If the battle is just big enough the GTX570 drops down to 26 to 30 like any other card. I think? only dual card systems can keep Arma 2 over 30 FPS at all times.

Good question, which I cannot answer entirely. There are other civilian jet warbirds, such as the L-39. Stick time in a high-performance jet is? probably mandatory. Modern GE CJ610 engines running on Jet-A. One private? museum is restoring a WWII original 262 to original condition for flight. They are having the original Jumo engines remanufactured with modern aerospace materials for safe (safer, I suppose) operation. The project is private (so few pics) but most aviation people know about it. Hopefully it will succeed with a flying example. The new Euro regulations and insurance were problematic for antique aircraft operators a few years ago.

That's interesting...I would have thought the opposite; European-built and registered on all counts. I've been out of the loop for too long, I guess! I am familiar with the prohibitive costs involved, especially in Great Britain, of insuring even visiting aircraft for airshows; the B-17 "Sally-B" was quoted prices in the thousands of pounds per hour just to appear at the Farnborough and Fairford shows back in 2010. The new Me262s were built (and test flown) in the US and only one has foreign registration. The Collings Foundation is waiting on FAA paperwork to fly their 262 with passengers. Several new-build Fw190s are US based and one WWII original Fw190? and Me109 are currently flying in the US and more will follow soon. The new-build Fw190s are owner-completed allowing a different registration category (and lower insurance.) The British CAA seems to be far more restrictive on warbirds currently.

Unless the FAA has? relaxed it's rules concerning "foreign equipment" surplused aircraft, or even new-build experimental or limited aircraft, there's little chance you'll see an Me262 at a US airshow, or any of those "new" Me109's or Fw190's. There is the possibility they could apply for a temporary Airworthiness Certificate for selected very important US airshows (Oshkosh, Reno, etc...), but the costs are considerable and the process can take months and even years. Sad!

Yes, the east german airforce had Mi-24 aswell as Mi-8 and Mi-4 ;) After reunification, some of the Mi-24 were kept for NATO evaluation. But shortly after they were sold to Hungary, Poland and two to the USA. The helicopters in service today are the Tiger UHT, CH53- and GS, Bo-105 M and P, Bell UH-1D,Eurocopter EC 135 and the Eurocopter NH90. The Mi-24s were recently in Germany again when polish soldiers? trained flying in the bavarian mountains as preparation for Afghanistan. ;)

Glaub ich auch :) Und du weißt ja : Laut unserem Super-Zivil Verteidigungsminister : ..."haben gar nicht genug Hubschrauber für einen Einsatz in Süd-Afghanistan" ROFL Wir haben nur ganze zehn CH-53 die zur allgemeinen Show auf Flugaustellungen rumdüsen. Wenn man? die mit neuen tanks und Luftfiltern umrüsten würde hätten wir schon in einem Monat genug Hubschrauber. Das man Haubschrauber auch einfach kaufen kann oder NH90 für Geld früher als 2013 ausgeliefert werden könnten...

Boeing baut keine Hubschrauber. ;) Die Bo-105? ist von MBB (Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm) Der Tiger wird bis 2010 die Panzerabwehrrolle vom 105 übernehmen aber ich denke der 105er wird als Aufklärer und Artillerie Lenker im Dienst bleiben. Man könnte ihn theoretisch zum reinen Aufklärer umrüsten.

Neues Triebwerk, neue Rotorblätter,vergrößerte Kabine für doppelte Transportladung bei gleichbleibender Reichweite. Langfristig könnte die Bundeswehr einige ihrer alten CH53 durch CH53-E oder vielleicht auch CH53-K ersetzen. Irgendwann ist das sowieso nötig schon aufgund des Alters der Maschinen. Die zusätzliche Reichweite und Tragkraft ist ein riesen Vorteil und die Maschinen sind sozusagen sofort verfügbar. Wenn man auf Eurocopter setzt kann bis? 2035 warten bevor man den ersten bekommt.

Der UH-1D schon. Der wird in den kommenden Jahren endlich durch den NH-90 abgelöst von dem hier auch? schon einer mitflog. (Der landet bei 3:36) Für den CH53 wird es jedoch keinen Ersatz geben und Eurocopter hat auch nichts in Planung für etwas in dieser Gewichtsklasse. Allerdings bieten die Amerikaner einige gute Upgrades für ihn an und bauen momentan an einer ganz neuen Version von ihm, dem CH53-K.

Also remove that empty space between? A and ccess Just a typo, sorry They removed these sections of the map as they decided to change plans and keep things like the Looking Glass a surprise for season 3. The guys that programmed Via Domus got most of their material from the producers. This also includes the concept art for the sealed magnetic room in the swan which was once supposed to be shown in season 2 but later got cancelled. So the room itself is canon too.

It was long ago near the end of Season 2. ;) So Via Domus is a mix of canon and non-canon elements.
