of course this model the 4g gt of eclipse its really? fast and the v6 engine sounds very sporty ,the thing that of course ,you can put much more horse power in the engine.or take the limiter off i suggest to get the limiter it has too give much more horse power

You can buy a chip for it, not the cheap little ones, but the ones that flash your ecu permanently, they also help performance all around....down side is if you have a warranty? it will be voided.

I have an '06 GT with just intake and exhaust with my limiter still on and can hit 147 in 5th gear no problem, I'm sure without the limiter and down? in 6th it could go much further.

lol you spend a good minute saying why you dont like the GT and then you went and bought one? lol. I would agree it doesnt handle like a dream, but what I really like is I can be going 120 and bang lanes on the interstate while maintaining full control. mines lowered and that really helped... totally changed the car. they should have came like that from? the factory. its just a really solid car, maintains handling even at over 100, thats what I really like.

so.... about that comment. Uhm, I bought a 4G gt in black, 6 speed today... soooo uhmmmm yeaahhh. I still wouldn't say it handles like a dream, but its fun to drive. keeps you? on your toes with the torque steer. plus, 650watt RF stereo hard to ignore...

sir I hate to say it, but on ramps aren't exactly a test of handling, and for the record, STi's arent my good idea of how a car should handle. understeer to lift off over, to? under. the eclipse is sporty I guess, but to heavy for a FWD car IMO. Go drive a boxster S, BMW M3, Eclipse GSX, or a miata, or even a mini cooper s, and then tell me it "handles like a dream." All I was saying, is its too heavy, too slow, essentially just fat. for the power the car has... it shouldnt be FWD.
